Accounting Manager (Asset Management Group)

The firm is seeking to hire an Accounting Manager who will be responsible for assisting with the month-end close, reconciling accounts, performing monthly variance analysis, and managing/allocating costs/fees for various investment vehicles.This is a fantastic company that is a market leader within its space and has great tenure across the group with one of the strongest benefits packages in the industry.Responsibilities:Assist with the month-end close overseeing several items on the balance sheet and income statementManage the GL and reconcile any discrepanciesManage employee expense reportsSupervise and mentor a small team Oversee several investment vehicles reconciling accounts and managing investment costsReview Accounts payable and process any outstanding invoicesAssist with the annual audit and prepare any supporting documentationQualifications: Bachelors in AccountingCPA would be a plus 5+ years of accounting experienceAdvanced Excel skills (Vlookups/pivot tables)Excellent communication and presentation skillsAnalytical mindset and excellent time management skills
