Senior Property Manager

Ascendo Resources is currently working with a Property Management company with over 30 years of business expertise!We are seeking a Senior Property Manager for a full-time, direct-hire role. This position is on-site and offers a salary up to $120,000 a year.Highlights About Company/Role:Family-owned company, spanning 3 generationsCareer-growthCompany owns, develops, and manages all their propertiesWhat You'll Be Doing:Oversee compliance with all New York rent regulations, rent stabilization, and Local Law compliance (LIHTC)Manage vacancy and renewal leasesManage landlord-tenant legal processManage all tenant relationsManage rent rollManage maintenance contracts and work ordersManage cyclical processes including building registrations, apartment registrations, etcOversee insurance compliance for retail and commercial tenantsCollaborate with accounting/bookkeeping departmentsCollaborate with other senior leadershipSupervise and manage superintendents and portersManage vendors and construction contractors including: permits, authorizations, and insuranceComply with all lawsUnderstand all building systemsEnsure efficient and appropriate building/tenant servicesManage repairs and capital improvements including contracts/agreements/scope, requisitions; work ordersOrganize and oversee preventive maintenanceRespond to emergency calls as first point of contactOther responsibilities as neededWhat We Are Looking For:5+ years of property manager experienceExperience with NY rent regulations/rent stabilization/local law compliance (LIHTC a must)Team management experience (porters, superintendents, vendors, etc.)Must be able to work on-site (West Harlem)
