Primary Function This role is essential for ensuring the seamless operation and security of cloud networks, making it a vital position in any organization leveraging Azure technologies. The main focus will be developing and deploying Azure-based network architectures, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security. Direct Reports: ☠Yes ☒ No Principal Duties: Monitor Network Performance: Continuously monitor Azure network performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to optimize performance. Troubleshoot Network Issues: Diagnose and resolve network problems to minimize downtime and service interruptions. Collaborate with IT Teams: Work closely with other IT professionals to design and implement efficient network configurations. Ensure Network Security: Implement and maintain security systems and protocols to protect network integrity. Manage Network Hardware and Software: Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software within Azure environments. Documentation and Reporting: Create detailed network reports and maintain documentation of network configurations and changes. Provide Technical Support: Offer technical support and guidance to end users and team members. *These essential functions are fundamental to the role, and must be performed on-site, as they cannot physically be performed remotely. In addition, the Company has determined that an in-person presence is important to critical components of our work, including oversight, training, collaboration, and productivity. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Minimum 5 years' work experience as a Network Engineer, with a focus on cloud environments, particularly Azure. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required knowledge, skills, and ability. Examples below. Technical Skills: Proficiency in networking, routing, and switching; experience with firewalls, VPNs, and network security. Azure Expertise: Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure solutions, including virtual networks, VPN configurations, and hybrid cloud strategies. Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Network Engineer Associate, Cisco (CCNA, CCNP), or equivalent. Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
