Picarro is seeking an accomplished Vice President of Manufacturing to further establish Picarro as the global leader in data-driven Broadband Monitoring Solutions that have applications across various industries, including Science,Leak Management, Emissions Monitoring of hazardous chemicals. You will be responsible for the overall success of the Manufacturing Operations organization for a multi-product and multi-national Company. You will be key in setting vision, strategy, and roadmaps that ensure Picarro delivers on our mission. Success in this position requires leadership, strong analytical skills, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, collaborative environment.Primary Responsibilities Key member of Picarro leadership team. Partner closely with the Engineering, Sales, and Product Marketing team to align on strategy and execution. Develop long-term planning for Operations and Supply Chain functions, including sourcing, logistics, and inventory management. Ensure that lean practices, along with advanced manufacturing technologies and methodologies, are applied across the manufacturing process to drive continuous improvement and exceed our customers' expectations. Drive best-known methods to improve operational performance related to departmental budget, utilization percentage, product lead time, internal cycle time, Cost of Goods sold, Quality, safety, and others. Proactively lead on driving initiatives for reducing the cost of various products by outsourcing the manufacturing of subassemblies to lower-cost alternatives. Lead and manage the manufacturing of our products internationally to support international growth initiatives. Experience with leading manufacturing companies in China is a big plus. Lead and oversee the Corporate Quality function to maintain all relevant ISO registrations, compliance, and continuous improvement efforts. Responsible for Manufacturing Engineering to continue to develop and refine manufacturing processes to ensure efficiency, repeatability, and quality. Work closely with the Hardware and R&D team to launch new products, leading the team to transfer new products and new technologies from engineering smoothly. Provide thought leadership and vision to support the organizational objectives and build best-in-class processes around global supply chain management, capacity planning, and new product introductions. Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing manufacturing team and build leadership bench strength. Cultivate a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation within the group and across the board. Enhance existing performance metrics and provide regular feedback to ensure team alignment with corporate goals. Oversee supply chain operations to mitigate risks and ensure supply chain resilience to support uninterrupted production while ensuring adequate oversight around efficient Inventory management. Preferred Skills: Bachelor's degree in a technical field or related field of study or equivalent experience Master's degree is a plus 15+ years of industry experience leading manufacturing, supply chain, procurement, and quality functions. Proven track record of driving cost-competitive strategies to drive operational efficiencies Strong track record of building and maintaining a world-class manufacturing team Experience managing relationships with Contract Manufacturers, setting up manufacturing operations internationally to support the localization requirements. Excellent interpersonal, relationship-building, and presentation skills to present strategies and manage change at all company levels. Continuous improvement experience (Six Sigma, lean, agile) is highly preferred.
