The Title Team Lead - Residential ensures teamwork and customer satisfaction by providing administrative supervision, developmental support, and technical guidance to team members. Additionally, oversight of daily workflow and ensuring adequate availability of staffing resources, quality of product, quantity of production, and project management are also critical. The Team Lead is expected to prepare and present annual performance reviews, provide recommendations for recognition and promotions, and work with stakeholders as necessary for team members requiring extended absences or who exhibit behavioral or performance deficiencies. Responsibilities: Ensures efficient and effective coordination and communication between the Title Operations Center Production Department and/or Customer Response teams, and the Full Support offices outside of Metro Denver. Takes responsibility for customer satisfaction. Communicate leadership objectives; provide guidance and support to the team and individual team members toward the completion of organizational goals. Prioritize workload daily by due dates, contract dates, and customer requests to meet deadlines and service levels; supervise day-to-day production/customer response activities; plan and direct employee work assignments. Coordinate shared responsibility with other production teams to meet contract dates and maintain service levels. Provide thorough explanations and alternatives regarding title issues to both internal and external customers. Serve as a mentor to other examiners, searchers, and production assistants by providing technical guidance and answers to questions. Monitor work reports and employee performance reports. Assist management in hiring, performance ranking, promotions, disciplinary action, and terminations. Complete and conduct performance appraisals. Examination of orders following standard examining practices and procedures. Approve surveys, subdivision plats, and condominium maps and declarations to determine insurability. Consult with customers for verification of facts and details involving the property. Request over-limit approvals according to company and underwriter guidelines. Support all unit job positions during peak production as necessary. Maintain and protect corporate security by applying cybersecurity practices in daily decision-making and processes. Perform other related duties as assigned by Residential Title Manager or Vice President of Title Operations. Ability to apply knowledge to more than one business segment. Ability to make underwriting/risk evaluation decisions for internal and external customers. Ability to determine when to consult with the underwriter or legal department; ability to work with the same to resolve issues. Minimum Requirements: High School Diploma or Equivalent required. College degree preferred. Valid Title License or ability to obtain this licensure within 90 days of hire. 5+ years of a combination of title examination and title work. 2+ years of management experience strongly preferred. Compensation: The base salary for this position is anticipated to be between $65,000.00 and $89,000.00. In accordance with Colorado state law, this position is non-exempt and all overtime will be paid at time and a half. Quarterly Title Incentives. Annual discretionary bonus dependent upon individual and company performance.
