Position Summary MYA's Director of Retail Managers will develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the Key Account Manager (KAM), Retail Territory Sales Associate (RTSA), and Retail Representative (RR) teams they oversee. These SOPs will be developed, implemented, and managed in ways that support sales goals and delivery of quality customer support of end-to-end services to individual retailers while ensuring bottom line profitability (i.e., ROA) and retention of contracts. Moreover, the Director of Retail Managers holds primary responsibility for: Retention and oversight of the Team Managers who report directly to them. Fair distribution of territories, stores, and labor to individual contributors within the Departments they oversee. Essential Duties and Responsibilities The essential functions of the individual in this role include, but are not limited to the following: Supervise and mentor the KAM, RTSA, and RR Managers. This includes collaboration with the Director of Human Resources for the recruitment, hiring, onboarding, training, coaching, and career development of these individuals as well as handling of disciplinary action (if needed) and in accordance with Company policy. Develop and maintain SOPs and policies for the KAM, RTSA, and RR teams. Specifically, SOPs include detailed workflows, design of sales playbooks, development of standard reporting, timely communication within the Departments, as well as effective and efficient administrative processes. Work with the Division's Vice President of Sales (VP) to collaboratively create and communicate sales goals to KAMs, RTSAs, and RRs. Specifically, they will encourage those in these Departments to make use of SPIFFS to increase sales goals. Report to the VP on forces that shift strategic direction of accounts and tactical budgets. This includes the timely communication of retailers or brands that are vulnerable to attrition regardless of the circumstances. Assist the Managers they oversee with determining priorities as well as distribution of labor to ensure a high level of quality customer support service to retailers. This includes keeping in coverage mind equitable geographic coverage. Oversee the administrative processes and procedures used by MYA associates to ensure that the input and output of data is done in an accurate and timely manner and in ways that effectively support the needs of the Division. This includes working in collaboration with the Director of IT to develop more efficient reporting and the use of software to minimize use of paper-based information or the need to input the same data into multiple repositories for sales or reporting purposes. As designated by the VP, participate in trade shows and sponsorship events to cultivate relationships with current and potential retailers or brands/manufacturers. Other duties as assigned by the VP. Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) Excellent written and verbal communications skills. Knowledge of how to develop client-focused, differentiated, and achievable solutions. Bachelor's degree preferred. Industry experience beneficial but not required.
