Structural Project Engineer I Position Highlights: Stewart has been in the Raleigh market since 1994 providing high-quality structural engineering services. The Project Engineer role is key within the team. Under the supervision of a Manager or Project Manager, you will have responsibilities and strong professional development opportunities. You will work on various building types, mentor Engineering Interns, and collaborate with Revit Managers. Position Responsibilities: Analysis and design of building's structural systems in accordance with code requirements and engineering standards. Interfacing and communicating with clients and other professionals, including coordination of drawings with architects. Providing REVIT assistance on projects. Completing QA/QC prior to submissions. Performing Construction Administration duties such as site visits and responding to RFIs. Position Qualifications: Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering with a concentration in Structural Engineering from an ABET accredited University, required. Professional Engineer (PE) License or Structural Engineer (SE) License required. 5 years of experience in design and preparation of construction documents. Excellent written and communication skills. Thorough knowledge of structural engineering principles. Knowledge of local, state, national building and material codes. Advanced skills in MS Word, Excel, Blue Beam, and other relevant software. Proficient in RAM, RISA, and ETABS. REVIT modeling software skills preferred. Driver's License preferred.
