Base Pay Range: $91,500.00 - $155,600.00 Annually Primary Location: USA-CA-Milpitas KLA's total rewards package for employees may also include participation in performance incentive programs and eligibility for additional benefits identified below. Group/Division The KLA Services team headquartered in Milpitas, CA is our service organization that consists of Service Sales and Marketing, Spares Supply Chain management, Field Operations, Engineering, Product Training, and Technical Support. Our comprehensive services include proactive management of tools to identify and improve performance, expertise in optics, image processing and motion control with worldwide service engineers, and 24/7 technical support teams. Job Description/Preferred Qualifications As a product engineer, you will be actively engaged in the New Product Introduction process for Surfscan and Wafersight products. In this role, you will work side-by-side with the engineering team to ensure the designs are reliable and meet serviceability requirements: Interact with engineering teams across multiple products. Encourage creativity and hands-on approach. Impact future serviceability improvements including cost of service reductions, reliability improvements, operational efficiency. Drive serviceability requirements for various systems and subsystems. Coordinate and perform root cause analysis using the 7-step methodology. Identify knowledge gaps and drive procedural/training improvements. Create processes to secure KLA Intellectual Property. Demonstrate solid engineering and data analysis fundamentals. Exhibit strong communication skills both oral and written. Have at least 2 years of experience in a multi-discipline system environment, preferably with knowledge of mechatronics. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor Level Degree in Engineering, Physics, Materials Science or related fields highly preferred. 2+ years showing progressively increasing scope of responsibilities. Experience with optics and electromechanical systems. Hardware & software engineering experience with demonstrable troubleshooting skills. Working knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing, optical-mechanical systems, DUV Laser fundamentals, wafer handling systems and servo control systems. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or an advanced degree with no experience; or equivalent work experience. Proficient with data analysis tools such as Power BI, JMP or Matlab. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Dedicated and a strong teammate.
