Business Analyst/System Analyst Computing/MIS Bethpage , NY Contract Feb 28, 2024 Title: Business Analyst/System Analyst Location: Bethpage, NY (Hybrid-onsite 10%-20% of the time) Duration: 6-12 months Description: Our client would like us to provide them with a Business Analyst who has good analytical and writing skills and can develop application support/development documentation. Expected to perform documentation of process and procedures required for each stage gate. Responsibilities: Work with IT and Business project teams to develop application support/development documentation including Runbook, Operational Support Plan, and System Documentation. Lead business requirements gathering workshops and document business requirements/ functional specification. Able to create Integration requirements specification. Analyze current business processes and document AS-IS business process flows. Work with business stakeholders in developing TO-BE business process flows. Translate business requirements into technical specifications/ technical design document and produce relevant support documentation. Prepare solution design documentation & configuration management plan. Should be willing to help PM & project team with any other documentation that comes on demand. Involved in all stages of the software development lifecycle and continuously should act as a liaison between the customer and the team. Develop test cases, test plans & test scenarios and has experience with any of the defect management system. Requirements: Minimum 5+ years of experience working as an IT Business Analyst. Minimum 10 years of experience working in an enterprise-level IT environment. Experience developing AS-IS and TO-BE business process flows. Extensive Experience working with Waterfall Methodology is a must. Extensive experience in all stages of the software development lifecycle (SDLC). Must have in-depth knowledge of business re-engineering principles and processes, the ability to identify, capture, and translate business requirements. Demonstrated proficiency in the preparation, selection, organization, and presentation of information in a concise and coherent manner. Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation, facilitation, and coordination skills. Nice to have: Utility industry experience #J-18808-Ljbffr
