RF Engineer

Experience in deployment and functional testing, end-to-end testing, development of test plans, integration and testing of ORAN or 5G networks. Product development experience and interaction with product teams. Understanding of 3GPP and xRAN / ORAN standards. Identification, analysis, and mitigation of issues reported from internal and customer lab tests. Experience with UE and Base Station emulator tools such as Spirent, Keysight, Amarisoft, preferred. Experience with testing tools and protocol analyzers, such as XCAL, QXDM, Channel Emulators, Spectrum Analyzers, Signal Generators, Wireshark, Sniffers, etc. Preferred 4G/5G LTE Call Processing and in-depth knowledge of RRC, S1-MME, S1-U, and X2 protocols. Identification, analysis, and mitigation of issues reported from internal and customer lab and field tests. Prepare material for and present to customers as part of testing and activities where required. 10 or more years of telecommunications industry experience. Experience in Open RAN engineering for a telecommunications system. Experience in RAN product aspects through work on at least one of the following technologies - UMTS, LTE, 5G. Working experience on at least one of the following equipment manufacturers - Ericsson, Nokia, Samsung, Mavenir, Altiostar, Parallel Wireless. Ability to work independently, as well as with others.
