Job Title: Senior Electrical Engineering Project Manager IILocation: New York, NYSalary: $150,000 - $190,000/year + BonusEmployment Type: Full-TimeAbout UsClient is a leading provider of MEP services in energy consulting, design, and forensics. With expertise in building-related services, we handle projects ranging from Local Law compliance to investigations of $100M+ loss events. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Electrical Engineering Project Manager II to lead and grow our Electrical Team. This is a high-impact role for a professional with technical expertise, leadership ability, and an interest in business development.Key ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership:Establish, grow, and manage the Electrical Team, including hiring, training, and mentoring staff.Develop and implement team standards.Technical Expertise:Provide electrical and fire alarm expertise for design and forensic projects.Serve as Engineer of Record for electrical and fire alarm designs.Maintain deep knowledge of building codes, NFPA 70 (Electrical Code), NFPA 72 (Fire Alarm Code), local utility requirements, and other reference standards.Project Management:Lead multidisciplinary teams and oversee projects from proposal to completion, including invoicing and accounts receivable management.Ensure Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) across all projects.Investigations & Reporting:Conduct investigations and prepare detailed reports for loss assessments and expert witness services.Travel as needed to perform on-site investigations.Client & Stakeholder Engagement:Represent PVEDI in communications with clients, contractors, vendors, consultants, and city/state agencies.Business Development:Support marketing efforts and participate in business development activities.Play a key role in growing the company’s business.RequirementsEducation:Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering from an accredited university.Experience:Minimum of 8+ years in electrical engineering roles.Experience with NYC-based projects strongly preferred.Licensure:New York State Licensed Professional Engineer (PE).Skills:Strong knowledge of engineering and construction practices, building codes, and fire alarm standards.Excellent leadership and mentorship abilities.Strong analytical, writing, and presentation skills.
