Job Summary We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our Oldcastle APG Finance team. The FP&A Analyst will oversee the processes for budgeting, financial forecasting, business and financial performance analysis, and variance analysis. This position will report to the Finance Controller and work closely with a variety of cross-functional stakeholders to help inform and influence critical business decisions. The ideal candidate is a hands-on self-starter with solid data analytics, business intelligence, budgeting & forecasting, financial analysis and reporting, financial modeling, and organizational communication skills. Job Responsibilities Build relationships and be a vital contributor to the regional FP&A teamPrepare, analyze, and report key financial and operating metrics. Identify trends, track progress, and make recommendationsCreating an analysis (through charts, graphs or other analytics) to provide a quick summary of what is happening with the businessDevelop presentation materials for executive and leadership meetingsOwn financial modeling process (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow), including budgeting and forecastingArticulate “the story behind the numbers” based on sound analysis and a deep understanding of the businessCoordinate the weekly forecasting process (flash) and own the associated analytical and reporting deliverablesResponsible for management reporting of the company’s financial performance, encompassing the analysis of results and the development of insightful commentaryDevelop a solid understanding of manufacturing processes and production variancesBe a strong business partner to sales and operations and contribute to their efficacy via insightful analysis and reportingPerform ad hoc projects and analyses to support senior management and business leadersPricing analysis – tracking the magnitude of pricing impact on revenues by companyMonthly analysis of financial results and modeling of projected performanceResponsible for Working Capital and Fixed Overhead spend analysisAnalyze and incorporate relevant economic and industry trends in forward-looking business analysis to influence effective decision-making Job Requirements To perform this job successfully, the right candidate must be able to perform each job responsibility satisfactorily Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related fieldMBA a plusDemonstrated FP&A experienceRelevant experience in manufacturing, construction, or related industry Knowledge & Skills Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skillsSolid working knowledge of Tableau and exposure to BI and Business Analytics environmentsComfortable analyzing and manipulating large data setsHighly personable, effective communicator with a proven record of building positive, trust-based relationships within the organizationStrong business acumen with a demonstrated ability to synthesize data and present informationStrong technical and functional abilities in all areas of financial analysisAbility to communicate effectively and convey financial information to non-finance stakeholdersAbility to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines under pressureSelf-starter with a strong sense of urgency and follow-up skillsAdvanced analytical skills with high attention to detailSolid planning and organizing skillsAbility to deliver on time and under tight deadlinesAble to deal with ambiguityAction-oriented and results-drivenDemonstrates a hands-on, collaborative approach in a fast-paced team environmentExperienced in presenting information to a variety of audiences, including senior leadershipStrong oral, written, and listening communicationCustomer service attitudeAbility to travel domestically as neededHigh career aspirations and willingness to consider geographic mobility in the future Compensation Base salary is $86,000 - $125,000Eligible for bonus What CRH Offers You Highly competitive base payComprehensive medical, dental and disability benefits programsGroup retirement savings programHealth and wellness programsA culture that values opportunity for growth, development, and internal promotion About CRH CRH has a long and proud heritage.
