Position: Multi-Skillset TechnicianLocations: Brooklyn, New YorkDuration: Perm – Paid hourlyHourly Pay: $24-34/hr. will work a minimum 45 hours a weekOvertime is paid out 1.5xShift: 8-5, will be on call and have a weekend on call rotation every other weekendMUST HAVES : Skilled technician in multiple different tradesCommercial experienceExperience in refrigeration, electrical, carpentry, some HVAC, restaurant type equipmentCommercial experience is requiredHS Diploma/GEDMust have a valid driver’s license from the state in which the candidate residesSafe place to park company vehicleNo physical restrictionsPLUSSES:Need to be somewhat tech savvy for documenting hours, looking at WOs, etc.Job Description:Client of Insight Global is looking for a maintenance technician. This person will receive a company car, laptop, and phone for business purposes. They will be receiving service orders 1 day or night before and then will be going site to site to do preventative maintenance on equipment in the stores. This person will be responsible for priority assessment and decision making as it related to troubleshooting, diagnostics, and a proactive maintenance of systems and mechanical equipment in a cost-effective manner. Candidates will work a minimum of 45 hours a week with an on-call shift and a weekend rotation.Compensation:$24/hr to $34/hr.Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
