Description Position at WCHN Affiliates Outpatient Radiology - Customer Service Representative Needed at Danbury Hospital8 hour shifts, between 7:30am-6pmHealthcare Experience Needed. Pay based on full years experience and range from $17.60 per hour plus shift differentials.Summary:Customer Service Representative 2 schedules, registers and receives patients according according to established policies and procedures, in a professional and courteous manner.Responsibilities:1. Schedules radiological exams in Soarian scheduling system according to established policies and procedures. 2. Registers patients in Invision, obtaining accurate demographic and financial information. 3. Verifies insurance benefits, scripts, pre-certification and authorization for services as necessary. 4. Performs reception and patient check-in functions, according to established policies and procedures. 5. Ensures work area is clean and well stocked, and office equipment is functioning properly. 6. Projects a positive and professional image exceeding Danbury Hospital behavioral competencies and department standards. 7. Adheres to Department standards for Service Excellence. 8. Fulfills all compliance responsibilities related to the position. 9. Performs other duties as assigned.Education: HS GRAD/EQUIVALENTOther Information:Required: Alpha/numeric data entry required. Knowledge of computer systems. Minimum Experience: three years Desired: Invision, Cerner, Soarian, Document Imaging, PACS and Stentor systems.
