The Customer Service Representative (CSR) position is responsible for providing high levels of service to our valued customers in such a way as to foster the development of long lasting partnerships. CSR's provide professional, friendly service in a fast-paced, detail oriented environment.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (Other duties as assigned.)-Proactive problem solving to meet customer's product, logistics and service needs-Create and develop relationships with customers through professional and friendly phone and e-mail support-Entry and management of customer orders and returns accurately and efficiently in the ERP system so that the organization is successful in meeting customer needs-Accurately convey detailed technical product and logistics information via phone and e-mail-Management of opportunities for improvement into the ERP system-Provide 'Voice of Customer' feedback to the organization-Develop positive working relationships cross-functionally that promote teamwork-Visits to customer sites and/or trade show participation is possible and may require some occasional travel-Coordination and implementation of sales strategies with the Sales and Marketing Team-Strong commitment to continuous personal development and growth-Miscellaneous projects as assigned by Department ManagerRequirementsMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS include the following:To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE-4-year college degree or equivalent experience in a related field is desirable-Minimum 3 years previous customer service and/or industry related experience a must-Prior experience with irrigation or related technology is highly desirableLANGUAGE SKILLS-Fluency in English is required-Fluency in Spanish is advantageousSKILLS-Service aptitude & disposition -Communication and relationship skills that cultivate long-term customer satisfaction-Capable of accurate data entry and able to effectively use MS Office, especially Word, Excel and Outlook-Ability to multi-task, requiring solid time management and organizational abilities-Strong listening & business communication skills-Problem solving skills -Technical aptitudeDESIRED TRAITS AND CHARACTERISTICSIndividual will have a demonstrated ability to consistently maintain a high level of focused activityIndividual will be results-oriented, pro-active and have a high degree of personal accountability and self-directionIndividual will consistently be stretching to achieve higher levels of performance and efficiencyIndividual will demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills, sound judgment, and incorporate company goals into personal goalsIndividual will hold themselves to the highest standard of ethics and integrity.Salary Description $68,640
