BESTIA is a multi-regional rustic Italian restaurant in Los Angeles focusing on a "from scratch" approach, offering house-made charcuterie, handmade pasta, and pizza made in an Acunto oven. It also specializes in a dessert menu that is centered around the freshest, most local ingredients possible. Bestia Restaurant is looking for an experienced pastry cook to join the team. Pastry cook should have at least 1 year experience working in pastry/baked goods. A passion for learning along with a desire to work as a team are key. As a member of the pastry team at Bestia, the pastry cook will be plating desserts on the line nightly. The pastry team is small so we are looking for someone with a positive attitude who is looking for a collaborative team environment. QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum of 1 year experience with pastry and/or baked goods Understanding of various baking methods, equipment, kitchen procedures Able to collaborate and work well in a team Strong work ethic Attention to detail Desire to learn COMPENSATION: $17.28 plus tips and health insurance for full time employees after 60 days.
