Daigo Sushi Roll Bar is looking for a Lead   Sushi Chef  who is interested in joining a company that values loyalty, dedication, hard work and a commitment to excellence.  We are looking for a talented Chef to join our team and grow with us.  The ideal candidate has the following qualifications: Passion for food and hospitality Positive and professional attitude Leadership qualities and professionalism Exceptional customer service and communication skills Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a respectful demeanor Ability to delegate, multi-task and solve problems Attention to detail and work in a neat, organized fashion Ability to work flexible hours as required including weekends and holidays NYC Food Protection Course Certification (preferred) Skills and Experience: Preparing traditional Japanese sushi rice Expertly breaking down, cutting and filleting various kinds of fish/seafood Preparing orders according to company standards on quality and presentation Maintaining a clean work environment in order to prevent food contamination The company is an Equal Opportunity Employer, drug-free workplace, and complies with ADA regulations as applicable.
