Every employee takes a person-centered approach that exemplifies the ICARE values (Integrity, Compassion, Accountability, Respect, and Excellence) through empathic communication and partnerships between all persons.Work Shifts8:00 A.M - 4:00 P.MJob DescriptionPurpose:Under direction of the Chief Operating Officer, Director of Grants and Management is responsible for developing and administering the programs for securing grant support for various programs from public and private sector sources of funding, managing all facility contracts, and maintaining government relations with relevant officials and agencies.Specific Duties and Responsibilities:The Director of Grants and Management is charged with and responsible for:• Promotes the mission, vision, and values of the organization.• Designs funding strategy and seeks public and private funding, establishes and maintains relationships and liaises with appropriate funding agencies, governmental units, vendors, and external partners.• Develop and implement grant strategies to secure funding for our programs, including supervision and development of criteria for grant review and providing staff services to committees concerned with grant review.• Develops and administers the procedures and tracking systems to monitor grants through all phases of the funding cycle and reimbursement formula, technical assistance for grant compliance, reporting, and renewal.• Develops and administers the procedures and tracking systems to monitor facility contracts through all phases of procurement and execution through termination, providing technical assistance and regulatory compliance.• This role will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, monitoring vendor contracts, and producing reporting as requested or required by policy or regulatory agency.• Oversee financial operations, including generating and submitting monthly billings, preparing proposals, requisitions, and invoices, and reconciliations.• In collaboration with Senior leaders define and effectively implement operational strategy, structure, and processes.• Independently manage multiple initiatives related to the strategic and operational goals and initiatives for SBH.• Create business/project plans and budgets and conduct analyses and research for assigned activities and programs.• Facilitate intergovernmental activities and communication to support SBH's position and engagement in the community and with elected officials.• Supports strategic planning through market analysis, structured assessments, and innovative thinking for growth and sustainability.• Manages and liaises external partners related to assigned initiatives.• Monitors and reports on activities, initiatives, and programs assigned.• Manages assigned departments across operational portfolio.• Prepares and supports professional writing and presentations in coordination with Executive Leadership Team (includes, policies and procedures, local presentations, conference and journal writing and presentations).• Other duties as assigned.Minimum Qualifications1. A Baccalaureate Degree with a major in Public Administration, Business Administration or Public Health Care Administration, and eight (8) years of progressively responsible experience in areas relating to Public Administration and/or Health Care Planning and Administration, at least three (3) years of which have been directly related to grants development within these fields; or, 2. A Masters Degree in related fields of study may be substituted for one (1) year of experience; or, 3.
