Position Summary: Responsible as technical resource for customers and factories trouble shooting problems in the field and providing factory start-ups and generally works independently. All aspects of providing technical support and problem solving for customers, factories and outside sales personnel. Position Responsibilities: * Provides start-ups and service for lighting control manufactures to including but not limited to: * Identify solutions to on-site technical issues involving lighting control systems * Provides control programming and testing in the field * Provides investigation and analysis in the field * Makes or directs installation corrections to solve problems * Other duties as assigned by manager Essential Skills: * 2-3 years' experience on electrical or low voltage system * Knowledge of low voltage system and logic programming * Basic understanding of electrical power systems * Understanding of basic Networking principles * Ability to read and understand building and control drawings * Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems * Understanding the implications of new information for both current and future problem solving and decision making * Must have excellent communication skills both verbal and written * Must have the ability to multi-task and make decisions quickly * Must be able to travel extensively * Must possess a valid driver's license, along with auto insurance meeting minimum requirement of 100/300k injury/accident coverage * Must be proficient on word, excel, and outlook
