We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join our Publishing department. This position will serve as post-sale project manager and handle broad operations responsibilities for the team. The Project Manager will work with various stakeholders at different levels of the organization to manage projects and improve transparency. The Project Manager will provide diplomatic and timely communication in an agile work environment with iterative planning and delivery cycles. This position will work primarily with our custom publishing editorial and sales teams, as well as contracts, marketing, and production groups. What You'll Do * Plan and manage multiple concurrent custom publishing projects * Assist in working with key domestic and international stakeholders to develop a clear understanding of a business need, define the project goals, and ensure alignment with strategic objectives * Apply project management tools/techniques * Drive improvements to process as it relates to custom publishing projects * Manage multiple stakeholders, aligning on common goals and communicating risks; help to run effective meetings * Develop and maintain project plans, identify resource needs, and manage project schedules * Build relationships of trust across functions and organizations; collaborate effectively across teams to define strategy, goals and commitment to timelines and deliverables * Anticipate the needs, risks, and challenges of your projects * Develop creative and practical solutions based on evaluation of multiple factors * Deliver value by leading project teams and by driving effective collaboration with team members, stakeholders, and other Project Managers * Drive projects forward amid stalling forces * Recommend improvements to established business processes while continuing to deliver high value in execution * Assist in the development of a team culture, including but not limited to driving regular team meetings, team building activities, etc. Minimum Requirements * Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience * Project management certification a plus * 3+ years' work experience in project management; content creation experience a plus * Media, publishing, or agency experience-or equivalent experience with client-side content team-preferred * Work directly with clients on the creation of custom projects * Experience in digital and print publishing or advertising a plus * Experience in project management tools/applications (e.g., Asana, MS Teams, MS Excel, Salesforce) * Strong communication and cross-collaboration skills * Attention to detail and strong sense of time management/adherence to schedules * Assignment duties/coordination with project creators * Administrative management: maintenance of databases/project files, meeting set up/management, preparation of meeting minutes, etc. Application Process Submit a resume and cover letter outlining qualifications and interest in the position by February 4, 2025. The anticipated initial rate of compensation for this position is $82,000 - $92,000 per year. Additional benefits may apply.
