We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Contract Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, negotiating, and reviewing a variety of contracts, including purchase agreements, sales contracts, NDAs (Non-Disclosure Agreements), TAs (Teaming Agreements), and business partnerships. You will also review Requests for Proposals (RFPs) to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional analytical skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to identify and mitigate potential risks to our organization. Your expertise will help reduce costs, maximize profits, and ensure all contracts align with legal and organizational standards. Requirements * Lead the negotiation, administration, and management of complex government contracts and subcontracts. * Ensure we're always in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, especially FAR and DFARS. * Develop and implement contract management policies and procedures that keep us on track. * Provide guidance and support to program managers and other internal teams on all things contractual. * Conduct risk assessments and develop strategies to keep potential issues at bay. * Review and interpret contract terms and conditions, making sure they align with our goals. * Handle contract modifications, amendments, and extensions as needed. * Keep our contract files and documentation organized and up-to-date. * Be the main point of contact for government contracting officers and representatives. * Lead contract closeout activities, ensuring everything is wrapped up neatly. Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Contract Management, Law, or a related field. A Master's degree or JD is a plus. * 5+ years of experience in contract management, with a minimum of 3 years in government contracting preferred. * Deep understanding of FAR, DFARS, and other federal regulations. * Experience working with business development and proposal teams to review and analyze proposal requirements, ensuring compliance with FAR, DFARS, and other regulatory standards. * Experience reviewing and negotiating NDAs, TAs, and other agreements. * Strong negotiation and contract administration skills. * Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. * Top-notch written and verbal communication skills. * Ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment. * Keen attention to detail and organizational skills. * Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite * Professional certifications like CFCM or CPCM are a big plus.
