Description We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team in the manufacturing industry, located in North Andover, Massachusetts. The role includes processing customer requests, maintaining detailed customer records, and resolving customer inquiries. This role provides a long-term contract employment opportunity. Responsibilities: - Process sales orders, RGAs, and credits efficiently in a high-volume environment, adhering to established methods and procedures - Manage product shortages and complaints, offering detail-oriented alternative solutions when necessary - Investigate, validate, and lift order holds related to credit issues, pricing discrepancies, shipping issues, and part identification difficulties - Facilitate communication between customers and our manufacturing/shipping departments to ensure timely order fulfillment - Develop and maintain detail-oriented relationships with both internal and external customers - Work with the Technical Support team to resolve customer-reported issues - Manage new and existing customer accounts as identified in the database - Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to capture and escalate customer requirements effectively. Requirements - Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Customer Service Representative, preferably in the manufacturing industry - Proficient in answering inbound calls and handling inbound/outbound calls effectively - Prior experience in a call center environment, providing exceptional customer service - Excellent data entry skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy - Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with experience in email correspondence - Familiarity with order entry processes and systems - Ability to schedule appointments efficiently and manage multiple calendars - Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word, with the ability to learn new software quickly - A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to handle customer queries and complaints professionally - A team player with a positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills TalentMatch® Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
