Job Title:Truck Driver Class D and Warehouse HybridReports To: General Manager with accountability to Director OperationsPosition Type:Full Time Salaried ExemptJOB DESCRIPTIONReporting to the General Manager (GM) of MBG South Carolina, the Truck Driver Class D/ Warehouse Hybrid is responsible for driving and delivering pre-ordered products to assigned accounts, rotating and stocking products, and performing various warehouse duties. This role requires a professional with a positive attitude, strong organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a competitive environment.Company ValuesAll-In: Being Accountable; If it's to be, it's up to me.People: Growing and building partnerships within a family dynamic.Future Thinking: Innovative and disruptive in our approach.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESWarehouse:Operate assigned handheld unit to create and correctly place labels on products.Hand-select orders within various warehouse environments, including non-temperature controlled, temperature controlled, and bonded holding areas.Stack products on pallets following proper selecting procedures (e.g., do not stack heavy on light product, labels must face out).Operate an electric pallet jack or forklift to transport products.Stage selected pallets for loading at proper dock locations.Shrink-wrap products on the loading dock.Truck Driver Class D:Check the accuracy and stability of the load.Deliver products to customers.Merchandise, display, and rotate products according to company standards.Invoice and collect monies due from customers.Pick up company property as required.Secure company assets.Ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies and procedures.Settle all accounts daily.General:Follow MBG preferred work methods and immediately report any unsafe conditions to the supervisor.Adhere to sanitation requirements to comply with MBG policies.Maintain and safely operate all assigned equipment, including pallet jack, handheld unit, and personal protective equipment.Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and safely operate all mechanical equipment.Attend all required company and safety meetings.QUALIFICATIONSProfessional with a positive attitude, great organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a highly competitive environment.Ability to establish working relationships with accounts in the territory and aggressively grow and expand territory.Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a proven track record of achieving sales and profit goals, distribution objectives, and creating positive relationships.Must possess a cell phone, dependable vehicle, valid driver's license, proof of state registration and insurance, and an acceptable driving record.Open to working occasional weekend hours.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSFrequent physical activity includes sitting, typing/keyboarding, walking, bending, reaching, standing, squatting, and stooping.Must have the ability to repetitively lift, pull, and push up to 100 pounds, reach above head height, stand, walk, kneel, bend, and reach.Frequently reach up to 72 inches and constantly bend and twist while operating a pallet jack and/or forklift and retrieving items from lower shelves.REQUIREMENTSMust be at least 21 years of age.High School diploma or equivalent.Valid Class D Driver's License required.1-3 years of general work experience preferred.Local delivery experience preferred.Prior grocery store and/or consumer products experience is a plus.Ability to work with minimal supervision.Driving record must be within MVR policy guidelines.Must be able to pass a background and drug screening for hire and randomly throughout employment.
