Substitute Food Service Assistant (Substitute placement is an on-call, as needed basis.) This position is not eligible for benefits or union membership. Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities This list of essential functions is not exhaustive and may be supplemented as necessary and without notice. Depending upon individual assignments this position performs all or a combination of several of the following duties: * Assist others in the preparation of breakfast and lunches * Assist cook as needed * Serve food to students and staff * Assist in the daily clean up of the kitchen and service areas * Replenish food, condiments, and supplies during meal service periods * Organize and clean refrigerator and dry storage areas * Operate commercial oven and dishwasher Minimum Requirements * Be at least 18 years of age and hold a high school diploma or equivalent * Current Food Handler's Card * Valid Washington State Driver's License * Criminal history clearance Employees (and their families) are eligible for medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance benefits, as administered by the School Employees Benefit Board (SEBB). Employees will receive sick leave, personal leave, and paid holidays, as outlined in the Collective Bargaining Agreement and District Policy.
