Maintenance Technician I

Position Responsibilities: * Performs preventative maintenance and repairs, including mechanical and electrical troubleshooting on equipment to meet required regulations and scheduling * Perform building related installation and maintenance, including furniture assembly, data/ power installations, and lighting repair * Maintain cleanliness of interior and exterior of property by painting and refurbishing areas * Monitor and maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and modifications * Use a variety of hand and power tools to complete maintenance and repair tasks, including a forklift and other heavy equipment * Communicate daily with Maintenance Supervisor and team with respect to repairs, faulty operations, defective materials, or parts and incident reports when necessary * Other duties as assigned Required Education and Experience: * High School Diploma or General Education Degree with 1 to 2 years of related experience Preferred Education and Experience: * Electrical Certification or Vocational Certification
