Job Description Gotham is looking for a Senior Project Manager to handle multiple top tier projects, ensuring consistency and quality of delivery across all assigned projects. The Senior Project Manager will manage campaigns from start to finish, umbrella the entire project and work closely with all departments and agency partners. They will be responsible for timing and logistics, becoming the trusted face of delivery. As the backbone of every project, the Senior Project Manager will refine and advocate for internal processes and be the client operations expert on every account. They will be aware of all live projects across accounts, collectively and efficiently managing project tasks and deliverables with the rest of the Project Management team. The Senior Project Manager will be a calming and motivating influence for creatives, communicating project changes quickly and clearly, making sure project expectations are always understood by creative team. They will encourage teamwork and collaboration across agency disciplines, with a steadfast ability to drive teams to meet deadlines and goals, in turn contributing to the development and execution of creative work. What you'll do: * Set up and run kick off meetings at the beginning of every project, ensuring all are clear on the agreed actions, timelines, and plans discussed * Manage project team assignments, providing support through prioritization and solving conflicts * Develop and manage project plans, related schedules, and project resource requirements and staff assignments * Mitigate and manage project risks, providing solutions to issues and keeping teams motivated to overcome high-pressure situations and ensure the best results * Reprioritize projects and resources based on client business needs * Facilitate effective meetings with senior leadership and team members, providing accurate information, concise deliverables, and clear expectations * Manage the day-to-day workflow, consistently communicating impact on project status * Hold regular status meetings with creative and account management teams, keeping communication open and updating relevant workflow documentation accordingly * Schedule and attend all creative review meetings, facilitating attendance of key stakeholders and ensuring meetings start and finish on time with clear deliverables * Work closely with account team to monitor and control the creative and production workflows on assigned accounts * Manage multiple asset postproduction, organization, and delivery; including print and digital retouching, video editing, and digital content * Partner closely with creative, account, and other agency leads to manage project deliverables including video, digital assets, and POS; ensure the right people are involved at each key stage of every project * Write POS scopes, create estimates, and manage POS budgets, ensuring vendors are paid and revenue is incurred before project is completed * Provide accurate estimates and track client approvals * Attend weekly meetings with relevant finance and account team members to review financial status of live projects * Issue purchase orders to suppliers and check against purchase invoices * Reconciliation of every POS project upon completion What we're looking for: * At least 5+ years of project management expertise in an advertising agency setting, creative production environment, and/or transferable client-side experience * Steady track record of delivering quality projects on time and within budget * Ability to negotiate, solve problems, and provide actionable solutions at all levels and stages of a project * Clear understanding of and hands-on work experience with agency processes, including creative, strategy, production, studio, etc. * Knowledge of both online and offline production * Finance related experience successfully managing and reconciling client budgets, writing scope SOWs, and creating estimates; proven track record partnering with agency finance team * Forward thinking with an innate appreciation of world class creative output * Proactive 'can do' attitude and strong decision-making skills * Well organized by nature and lover of process optimization * Strong desire to learn, support, and develop with core team, enhancing the overall project management function at the agency * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal * Expert in MS Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint * Intermediate experience in MS Project or similar project management software such as Screendragon, Workfront, Smartsheet Who we are: Founded in 1994, Gotham is a multi-disciplinary, small-ish boutique creative agency in the midst of global expansion and rebranding for a new generation of creativity and clients under new creative leadership and vision. The starting salary range is $80,000 to $100,000. Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position; the associated discipline; market considerations; budgetary considerations; tenure and standing with the company (applicable to current employees); as well as the employee's/applicant's background, pertinent experience, and qualifications.
