The successful candidate will be a key partner to the executive team, driving the design and implementation of people-focused strategies that enhance organizational performance and employee satisfaction. This role is pivotal in shaping the company's talent strategy, with a focus on workplace culture, employee engagement, and the establishment of scalable HR practices to support rapid growth. The Head of People will be responsible for overseeing compensation strategies, providing guidance on workforce and succession planning, and ensuring that HR policies are in line with legal requirements. They will also champion change management, build training programs, and serve as a culture steward to promote inclusion and engagement. Applicants should have a minimum of 10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within a smaller or hyper-growth environment. The role requires a proven track record in HR strategy, organizational design, training and development, and employee engagement and retention. The ideal candidate will have a data-driven mindset, exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, and the ability to influence senior leaders. A Bachelor's degree in HR, business administration, or a related field is required, with an advanced degree preferred. Professional HR certifications are also a plus. The Head of People will play a critical role in the company's mission to accelerate the electrification of transportation and combat climate change, and as such, a strong alignment with the company's core values and a commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging is essential.
