The role also involves liaising with the tax team for reporting and analysis. This position demands a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in fund accounting, particularly within the private equity sector. The Assistant Vice President will be responsible for a range of financial activities, from quarterly and annual reporting to the preparation of capital call and distribution notices. A Bachelor's degree is required, along with 5-6 years' of experience as a fund accountant, with a preference for those who have worked in private equity and are familiar with the FIS Private Capital Suite. Experience with general ledger and relevant software is essential, and a background in private equity is highly valued. The role is pivotal in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the firm's financial operations, and the ideal candidate will have a proven track record in a similar capacity.
