The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the execution of the Capital Markets Engagement Strategy, which involves leading and assisting in the management of regulatory activities such as examinations, continuous monitoring, and requests for information. This role requires a professional with a strong background in financial services, particularly in compliance, legal, or other control-related functions, and a deep understanding of the laws, rules, and regulations of various capital markets regulators. Key responsibilities for the Capital Markets Regulatory Engagement Officer include supporting the overall regulatory relationship coverage, providing oversight for regulatory activities, and serving as a central contact for both regulators and internal business and function teams. The role also involves coordinating and managing all events related to capital markets regulatory activities, building strong partnerships with internal stakeholders, and preparing reports and briefing materials for senior management. The ideal candidate should have excellent project management and organizational skills, be highly motivated, detail-oriented, and a proactive problem-solver, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills are essential, as is the ability to interact with individuals at all levels of the organization. A Bachelor's degree is required, with an advanced degree being a plus, and a minimum of 6 years of relevant work experience in financial services.
