The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and implementing policies and procedures, providing executive direction for the service, and ensuring compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). This role involves managing a significant operating budget and directing all related administrative functions, including reservations, scheduling, budget, personnel, and contract management. The Vice President will also be at the forefront of enhancing paratransit technologies and coordinating with various agencies and organizations to provide outreach services. Candidates for the Vice President of Paratransit position at the company should have a Baccalaureate's degree in a relevant field and a minimum of 13 years of professional experience, with at least 8 years in a managerial or executive capacity. A strong background in transit planning, in-depth knowledge of the ADA, and experience in managing a large paratransit operation or related transportation function are essential. The role requires a leader with strong managerial, written, verbal, and presentation skills, and a graduate degree is preferred.
