The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and launching a comprehensive fundraising campaign, analyzing current efforts, and developing strategies to enhance fundraising results and alumni participation. This role involves leading a team to focus on major gifts, planned giving, bequests, and annual giving, as well as maintaining strong advancement systems and developing volunteer engagement pathways. The Vice President will also serve as a liaison to the Alumni Association, build relationships with industry partners, and advocate for the College's mission and education programs. Applicants must have a Baccalaureate degree, with a Master's degree preferred, and 10 to 15 years of demonstrated leadership and management skills, including senior-level experience in a university setting. The role requires a candidate with a strong background in fundraising, strategic planning, and excellent financial and communication skills. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in motivating others, be adept at problem-solving, and have the capacity to work effectively with volunteer leaders. Responsibilities also include maintaining effective communication with various stakeholders and representing the College at industry events.
