Senior Instrumentation Control Engineer

Job Title: Instrumentation, Control and Electrical LeadLocation: Edison, New JerseyBasic Requirements: Bachelor or Masters Engineering Degree Instrumentation & Control Engineering or Electrical Engineering10-15 years' experience Domain experience from Chemical or Petrochemical industries or RefineryCapable of Engineering / Project Coordination, Interface Management, Customer Management for specific Instrumentation and Control, Automation and Electrical Engineering related jobsExperienced Engineer with a demonstrated history of working in various phases of project life cycle.Experience in plant engineering and project management activities for Concept study, Feasibility, Basic, FEL, FEED, and DEDExperience in Plant Capital or expense projects, Plant Maintenance or reliability or sustenance projects.Experience in Plant controls systems-oriented projects, instruments and analyzers projects, electrical projects.Strong engineering professional skilled in estimating, planning, monitoring, executing, and commissioningWorked as an onsite coordinator between offshore and client officeBasic understanding of multiple disciplines requirements (i.e. Process, Civil, Electrical, Mechanical and Instrumentation) and provide inputs to the offshore team from site.Onsite coordination with all stakeholders incl. suppliers/vendor, agencies/ contractor etc.Site coordination for inputs and providing mark-up on layouts/drawings to offshore teamReview /preparation of Equipment datasheets & specifications and RFQ and aligning with Client.Support in preparation of project schedule and aligning with ClientPreparation of Tender document/SOW documentFloating of enquiries, vendor offer review and preparation of TBA and supporting client in finalization of vendorsFollow-up vendors for delivery, conducting FAT/SATProject execution including coordination with Site team, vendors and contractors for installation and commissioningSkills:Extensive client and stakeholder management e.g. ability to build relationships with clients, a customer-oriented mindset.Planning, implementing, monitoring and coordination of various aspects of a Project Life CycleExcellent multitasking, problem solving and good analytical skills Independent as well as team working capabilities and a quick learnerHands-on experience with onsite-offshore coordination work.Interpersonal skills, e.g. ability to work well with others.Excellent communication and negotiation skills.Creativity and innovation skills.An organized approach to work e.g. attention to details, Patience, Strong work ethic.Problem-solving aptitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
