The Field Service Technician (Hydraulic) will work as a member of the Service team to inspect, evaluate, repair, and test hydraulic components. We are seeking candidates that can setup and run performance tests on hydraulic pumps, motors, valves, and electrical controls. The Hydraulic Service Technician will also provide support to the Sales and Quality teams for field service and repair needed. The ideal candidate must have a solid technical and mechanical background, be passionate about high-quality work output, have an appropriate sense of urgency. Work Location: Huntersville, NC Work Hours: 8 am - 5 pm Position Classification: Full Time - Direct Hire FSLA Status: Hourly Travel: Based on Managers guidance Why You Should Join Our Team: * Competitive Compensation * Work-life balance (Paid Time Off) * Paid Company Holidays * Low to no-cost medical, dental, and vision plans * STD/LTD and Basic Life AD&D * Company matching 401(k) * Tuition Reimbursement and Professional Development Assistance What You Will Do: Daily duties of the role include but are not limited to - * Inspecting, Evaluation, Repairing, and Testing hydraulic components and electrical controls to acceptable quality standards * Interpret technical documents and detailed schematics for in-house and field service jobs * Setting up and running performance tests, pumps, motors, valves, and electrical controls * Support sales team efforts for system start up and/or troubleshooting * Support Quality team for warranty related claims * Work with Service Supervisor, develop yearly training plan * Provide basic troubleshooting for electro-hydraulic controls when require * Housekeeping and organization according to the company standards * Supporting the company with a positive attitude at work and during travels to customers. * Travel is required to support customer base * Cross Train with other service technicians on basic troubleshooting and support of electrical controls and HAWE product line What You Will Need: A qualified candidate must possess the ability to- * Must be able to read and understand hydraulic schematics and blueprints * 10+ years' experience working in the hydraulics industry with knowledge outside of HAWE product line * Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion * Good interpersonal skills and high energy level * Professional personal presentation * Availability to travel up to 75% may be required * Basic understanding of Service module in Business Central * Must have a strong knowledge of mechanics and their operations * Basic computer (Windows-based) skills and MS Office package * Good organizational skills and attention to details * Good problem-solving and reasoning skills * Must be a self-starter with determination to provide quality service What We Would Prefer: * 10+ years' experience working in the hydraulics industry with knowledge outside of HAWE product line HAWE North America, Inc. is a mid-sized, internationally active family business headquartered in Munich/Germany.
