The Opportunity Williams International has an exciting opportunity for a Shipping & Receiving Specialist to join our team on Afternoons (12pm - 8:30pm.) The Specialist will prepare and package sub-assemblies or finished engines to ship to customers, vendors or other corporate locations, both nationally and internationally. This position is responsible for receiving and signing in incoming freight as well as packaging and shipping outgoing materials. This position is responsible for monitoring shipping and packaging supplies and is required to drive the company vehicle for pickups and deliveries. Qualifications * High school degree or equivalent * 1-2 years prior experience with inventory management or shipping preferred * Training is available * Proficiency in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office and effective typing skills is essential for this position * Strong organizational skills and attention to detail * Must have a valid drivers license * Must be able to obtain a Hi-lo License * Physical lifting requirements include; ability to lift 50 pounds (4 inches to 25 inches), capable of pushing or pulling a weight of 60 pounds, a grip strength of at least 50 pounds, and be able to reach above the shoulder (65 inches above floor level, minimum) * U.S. citizenship is required * Position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance, if needed.
