Back of House Staff

Radio Kwara is hiring new front-of-house servers and back-of-house cooks for its growing team. The compact service station requires front-of-house and back-of-house staff to work collaboratively and seamlessly in an essentialized kitchen space.  Radio Kwara is the sister restaurant to Dept. of Culture restaurant. Founded and owned by Executive Chef Ayo Balogun, Radio Kwara offers a unique and intimate Nigerian small plates dining experience in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn. Opened in the summer of 2023, Radio Kwara blends traditional Nigerian cuisine with familiar twists and modern sensibilities.  Responsibilities of Back of House Prepare, prep, and serve (11-15 dish menu) along with another cook during full-service Maintain overall cleanliness, organization, and presentation of the kitchen Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge and experience in maintaining food safety and sanitation standards Support executive chef and back-of-house team with the creative development of dishes and presentation Requirements of Back of House  Interest in Nigerian and West Valid and active Food Handler's license Ability to work well in a close-knit space Ability to work nights and weekends  Openness to receive and provide feedback  Ability to multi-task and work quickly on one's feet  Previous restaurant experience is desired We are an equal-opportunity employer.
