What You'll Do: * Under the direction L2 or L3 technicians: Assists with and or performs all functions of the L2 (Journeyman) and L3 (Master or Multi-Skilled) level position. * Repair and install concrete and asphalt surfaces and structures using current trade / industry practices. * Repair and install the playing surfaces of tennis courts and running tracks. * Removes, replaces, and repairs concrete foundations. * Prepares and cleans up job site, taking into consideration safety concerns of self and others, and disposes of waste and flammable materials. * Patches steps using material and reinforcements that extend life of work, according to correct process and with consideration to safety standards. * Reviews work orders, prioritizes, and determine supplies for repair and purchases supplies using District purchase order system. * Performs work and cross trains in at least one other trade as an apprentice. * Assists with snow removal efforts on a 24 hour on-call basis. * Responds to emergencies 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. What You'll Need: * High School Diploma or Equivalent * 2+ years of relevant experience * Must have and maintain a valid Colorado Driver's License and m meet District insurability standards. Must have the ability to obtain a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) City of Denver right of way license preferred. * Lead for racial and educational excellence and work to dismantle systems of oppression and inequity in our community, along with believing in and supporting all students so they feel seen and heard with access to high quality education. * Live and work with a permanent home address in Colorado while working with us. * Have the ability with or without accommodations to meet the physical demands of the position.
