Truck Driver #4

Wild River Door is currently seeking a Non-CDL Delivery Driver to add to their team. This position is located in Lakewood, Washington. The Non-CDL Delivery Driver will function as a key contributor of the department team, focused on safely and effectively meeting the needs of our customers both internal and external. Traveling will be required.Essential functions and responsibilities: • Follow all safety rules and regulations, all work must be done thinking "Safety First" • Unload / Load shipments and deliveries via fork lift or pallet jack • Prepare, inspect, and operate delivery vehicle • Complete Logs and Reports • Follow DOT regulations and safety standards • Follow route and time schedules • Professionalism is a must; as there will be much interaction with customers • General duties as assigned Qualifications - Required: • Valid WA driver's license • Clean driving record of 5 years capable of passing insurance requirements • Must submit to and pass pre-employment drug screening • Ability to move and lift items up to 100 lbs. regularly • Ability to climb in and out of truck regularly • Ability to operate all equipment in a variety of weather conditions • Good computer skills • Must be a quick learner • Position requires a commitment to safety and accuracy; with stellar attention to detail in all procedures and operations • This position has physical activity including but not limited to repetitive use of hands and arms, lifting, carrying, standing, walking, bending, twisting, turning, pushing & pulling • Excellent organizational and time management skills • Outstanding work ethic, be self-motivated and have a teamwork/positive attitude • Good hand-eye coordination • Work well under pressure and independently Qualifications - Preferred • Prior experience driving box / curtain trucks ranging in size from 24-28' Salary/Hourly Rate: DOE
