In this position, you will monitor warehouse inventory and manage warehouse staff to ensure that products are stored and shipped out accurately and efficiently. Previous warehouse experience is required.Duties and ResponsibilitiesCoordinate and oversee all warehouse logisticsSupervise and direct warehouse staff; put worker safety as a top priorityTrack and account for all incoming and outgoing productsConfirm proper and timely delivery of productsPerform various inventory counts; order supplies and goods as neededSupervise all forklift operationsMaintain shipping documentation, manifests, and receipts; enter relevant data in reports as needed.Ensure that shipment materials match packing lists before dispatching orders.Assist in the hiring and training process of new warehouse staffEnsure proper transport, packaging, and placement of productsMotivate and lead warehouse staff to effectively carry out given tasksAbide by and enforce facility rules and state laws and regulationsImprove warehouse work processes through strategic planning in order to create a more efficient fulfillment systemQualificationsHigh school diploma or GED equivalent required.Previous management experience in a warehouse positionKnowledge of inventory and supply chain managementForklift certification and/or ability to successfully complete forklift training and operate machinery safely according to company protocolPhysical stamina: able to work long hours on one's feet and lift 50+ poundsExcellent organization and efficient time-management skillsStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to meet deadlines and work well under pressue
