Repair Technician

Position Summary: The Repair technician is responsible for repairing any issues on fiberglass hulls and decks, and small parts. Responsibilities * Conduct repairs for final gel coat application and match new finish to existing gel coat. * Spray gel coat, wet sand, and buff to match new finish. * Spray nonskid gel coat. * Repair nonskid gel coat (sand and diamond pattern). * Must be able to follow all safety rules and hazardous material guidelines. * Able to follow directions and have attention to detail. * Able to work in a fast-paced environment. * Must be able to always keep work area and nearby area clean. * All other duties as might be required. Qualifications Qualifications: * High school diploma or equivalent. * Experience with different types of sandpaper grits. * Experience in gel coat repair and/or auto body repair. * Some dexterity. * Ability to work with others. Physical Demands: * Bending, kneeling (squatting), lifting, and twisting continuously throughout the day. * Being able to stand/walk for up to or if not longer 10 hours each day. * Have the ability to move heavy objects.
