POSITION INFORMATION (Corporate IC CLERK COLLEGE POINT, NY Position Title: Corporate Inventory Control Clerk Department: Inventory Control Supervisor: Inventory Controller FLSA: Non-exempt Position Summary: The Corporate Inventory Control Clerk supports iControl functions related to inventory accuracy. This position is interdisciplinary working closing with iControl Analysts, Retail Stores and internal and 3PL Cross Docks/Distribution Centers. Daily tasks include collaborating with Inventory Controllers to ensure efficient and timely receiving work is completed. This role is directly responsible for maintaining accurate records of purchase orders received inbound to Distribution Centers and received in the retail stores. Essential Functions: + Review, decipher, and communicate overages and shortages from emails, manifests and bill of ladings. + Communicates efficiently and concisely over the phone, in person and through e-mail to discuss and highlight variations in receipts and/or from paperwork. + Escalates abnormalities observed in paperwork to senior colleagues expediently. + Can quickly learn and become directly familiar with vendor and cross dock manifests, bill of ladings, and emails. + Fast learner and self-starter that is great with numbers. 6. Accurately inputs information into Inventory Management System in a timely and error free manner. 7. Checks and validates own work and the work of counterparts carefully to minimizes omissions or errors. 8. Contains a willingness to learn advanced Microsoft Excel functions with goal of maintaining complex files. 9. Conducts self in a professional and manner. 10. Excited by working on a high caliber team. Other Responsibilities: 1. Performs other work-related duties as required and assigned. Including but not limited to, any reporting requested/assigned weekly. Education, Experience and Skills Required: 1. Minimum 1 year similar experience 2. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, employees, vendors and buyers. 3. Computer Literate and must be detail oriented. 4. Effective oral and written communication skills. 5. Commitment to company values and strong service orientation.
