JOB SUMMARY AND RESPONSIBILITIES This position performs in a safe and efficient manner master mechanic level maintenance, troubleshooting, repair and/or installation/replacement of major and minor components parts of all motorized (diesel and gasoline) vehicles and equipment assigned to Nashua Transit to ensure the equipment under his/her care is maintained in a high state of readiness and is safe to operate. Performs State of New Hampshire Inspections. Performs other related duties as assigned. This is a full-time (40 hours per week) position, Monday through Friday (Saturdays as needed), is part of the UAW Clerical/Technical Bargaining Unit and provides an excellent work life balance and flexible scheduling. The position is grade 10, with an hourly wage not to exceed $27.90.
