We offer an academically focused TK-5 Summer C the Summer Institute for Middle and High School-aged students; and our English Language Institute for international students. Our summer programs reflect our commitment to providing Bay Area children with a dynamic and exciting educational experience.Click here to learn more about our Summer Program: SummaryProvide a positive environment for campers to learn and develop lifelong skills in the performing arts through classes and rehearsals for a concluding performance. Assists the Summer Conservatory Director and providing support to the students in the classroom. He/she shall be responsible for maintaining the physical and emotional safety of the campers.QualificationsCompleted 11th grade with proof of attendanceProven experience in performing arts classesExperience working in theater arts or musical theater as a performerExperience working with children as a leaderKnowledge, Skill & Ability RequirementsMust have an extensive classroom and performance background in either theater or musical theater Strong organizational skills Ability to lead a room of middle-high school students with control and ease Strong knowledge of theater skills, games, and processesOther Duties and ResponsibilitiesLunchtime supervision, aftercare (4-5 pm daily)Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesAssists directors with the prop, set and costume design creation, acquisition, and organization Develops and executes morning warm-ups and skill-based activities for middle school campers Manages RPAC organization for production under the director of Artistic Director Participates, and depending on experience, in morning class activities in the artsWorking ConditionsWorking throughout the RPAC during the day, lunch outsideOur Mission:Our mission is to educate students for success at college and beyond, and to foster kindness, respect and integrity within a safe and nurturing environment.
