Job Description Avon Animal Hospital has served the Northeastern Ohio and greater Cleveland area since 1973. As a result, we have a loyal and dedicated clientele who trust us to care for their beloved pets. Although we primarily focus on canine and feline care, we previously provided services to avian and exotic patients. Any interest in that regard would be a huge plus! About the Area: Established in 1824, the historic town of Avon, Ohio is centrally located to popular local restaurants, wineries, breweries, and shopping areas! If you like spending time outdoors, Miller Nature Preserve, state parks and Lake Erie are all close by! If you prefer to spend your spare time in the city, Cleveland and Akron are both just a short drive away! Known as being one of the best places to live in Ohio, Avon offers a sparse suburban feel with exceptional school districts and would be a great place to raise a family! What We Are Looking For: We are a laid-back team made up of warm, welcoming, and hardworking individuals who are looking for the same in our new team member! We are in it for the patients first, and we want to know that you are too. We predominately care for canine and feline patients, but in the past have offered care to avian and exotic patients as well. Any interest in that regard would be welcomed by staff and clients alike. An ideal candidate will be a few years out of veterinary school, however we are able to offer mentorship to the right new grad!
