We are looking for an experienced and driven Account Executive with a strong background in technology sales, especially working with State, Local Government, and Education (SLED) clients. We offer an uncapped commission plan in addition to a competitive base salary. As a Account Executive at CCS, you will: * Utilize various client acquisition methods (social selling, relationships, lead generation) to drive business with new New England SLED clients. * Develop new and repeat business opportunities within assigned New England SLED accounts. * Cultivate relationships with decision-makers, especially at the IT Director and Superintendent levels. * Assist in building Custom's brand recognition with prospects, clients, and first-tier manufacturers. * Understand and communicate Custom's diverse product portfolio, including consulting services, first-tier manufacturer technologies, managed services, and staffing. * Establish and maintain relationships with strategic manufacturing partners. * Obtain and maintain industry sales certifications for Custom's first-tier manufacturers. * Set meetings with SLED clients to understand business requirements. * Qualify sales opportunities, set customer expectations, and handle negotiations effectively. * Communicate consistently with customers, managing a pipeline of opportunities and forecasting accurately. * Participate in sales meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and contribute to departmental expertise. * Conduct demonstrations of various products and services to prospective customers. * Stay current with partner registration programs and incentives. * Understand SLED purchasing processes, requirements, timelines, and funding sources. Qualifications: * 10+ year track record of proven business-to-business sales experience in the SLED vertical. * Experience in a "Sales Hunter" role with a strong focus on new business acquisition. * Strong leadership skills, able to persuade and influence opinions while recommending optimal solutions. * Driven individual with a track record of consistently achieving and exceeding targets. * Customer-oriented with the ability to initiate, maintain, and grow business relationships. * Effective communicator, able to collaborate with Custom's Solution Consulting staff in presenting solutions and interpreting customer requirements. * Ability to negotiate contracts, deliverables, and pricing. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs. * CRM experience.
