Job Summary: AFL is looking for a Contracts Manager who will be a part of the AFL legal team. You will develop, support and manage the commercial contracting function for AFL's global business units. Responsibilities: * Support the selection, implementation, and ongoing operation of a global contracts lifecycle management system. * Work with global business units to upload, store, monitor, and report on AFL's customer, supplier, and vendor contracts in new contracts lifecycle management system. * Work with AFL in-house attorneys to review and negotiate commercial contracts of all types to identify risks and conformity with company policy. * Ensure contracts are reviewed by all relevant stakeholders. * Develop, update, and maintain business unit specific contract templates. * Develop knowledge of unique contract provisions requiring special administrative/business processes, monitoring, or risk management action. * Manage numerous network directories and databases with mission-critical business documentation, including filed/approved contract forms, approved plans of operation, Word versions of executed contract documentation, client-specific templates, and files relating to in-flight projects. * Other responsibilities associated with this position and additional work as assigned by AFL in-house attorneys. Qualifications: * Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field required * Legal, Legal Operations, or Paralegal training/experience as a legal assistant or contract analyst * 3 plus years of related experience, including experience working with complex contracts in a transactional setting * Experience implementing or working with contracts lifecycle management software ("CLM") as administrator or user a plus * Communication skills to clearly articulate information verbally and in writing * Decision-making, problem-solving, and reasoning skills to interpret and respond to complex information * Organizational skills to manage multiple projects and plan/develop schedules * Attention to detail to maintain high quality standards * Strong aptitude for legal and business concepts * Ability to work well in a multidisciplinary team environment * Strong aptitude and proficiency for office technology including: Microsoft Office 365, Document Management Systems (NetDocuments), research tools
