Job Summary: Reporting to the Procurement Manager, within the Supply Chain Department, this position is responsible for procurement and contracting activities to support the Company's operations. Key Responsibilities: * Develop contracting plans and strategies based on Company requirements. * Sourcing for major procurement * Work with site teams to define requirements, draft scopes of work/supply and develop RFx packages. * Issue and manage RFx packages and other sourcing processes. * Review and grade proposals and quotations * Develop recommendations to award * Draft, conform, negotiate, and support execution of contracts to formalize commercial agreements, partnering with the legal department. * Work with site teams to develop and implement contract management plans * Manage contract administrative matters relating to compliance, claims, disputes, invoicing/payments, correspondence, progress/review meetings, insurance, liability, indemnities, bonds, and retentions. * Develop and maintain standard contract, RFx, and associated documents and templates to facilitate the procurement process. * Complete audits of contracts to identify gaps in contract management or supplier performance. * Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives in contract management and procurement. * Ensure compliance with Company policies and procedures. * Other duties as assigned, according to the changing needs of the business. Qualifications: Education: * BS/BA degree or equivalent experience. * Strong communication skills, both oral and written. * Experience: * 5-years procurement or contract management experience in industrial or mining space, with experience drafting contracts. * Oracle experience preferred. Skills: * Fluency in Spanish preferred. * Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. * High level proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). * Working knowledge of ERP systems. * Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. * Team player with strong organizational skills. Working Conditions: * This position is eligible for remote working. * Ability to function effectively in remote working environment. * 10-25% travel.
