This position is responsible for overseeing the daily activities of the DC Inventory Control & Shipping Audit teams. This position is responsible for the overall accuracy, both financial and physical, of the DCs inventory. They will be heavily involved and lead slotting, error analysis and other activities that impact inventory. This position is critical for ensuring the integrity and accuracy of the inventory in order to meet customer demands in an efficient manner. RESPONSIBILITIES: Inventory Supervisor Activities (80%) * Oversee the daily activities of the Quality Audit and Inventory Control teams * Conduct performance appraisals and provide regular performance feedback and development opportunities to the team * Act as a change agent/lead in support of company initiatives & process improvements * Monitor DC Inventory to ensure highest level of accuracy * Prepare reports on inventory balances, to include cycle count performance, Inventory levels and problem areas. * Audit counts as they are being completed for accuracy * Monitor slotting activities for maximum efficiency and safety * Identify and direct staff on re-warehousing of equipment and parts * Ensure compliance with established policies and procedures for all inventory matters * Monitor overstock inventory and coordinate movement between locations to fulfill customer orders within the expected service level * Support the kitting process for specific products through the completion of work orders and inventory moves DC Quality Audit (20%) * Coordinate with Quality Audit team to prep the monthly audit calendar, ensuring all areas in the DC are audited for accuracy. * Track error levels and publish monthly updates on each department's performance * Interpret trend analysis and work with area supervisors on improvement CRITICAL FUNCTIONAL SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE * Strong knowledge of SAP or other warehouse management systems * Expertise in all aspects of Cycle Count programs and processes * Experienced and comfortable with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Teams & Outlook EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE * High school graduate or equivalent required * At least 3 years of warehouse experience * Previous Inventory Control or Inventory Management experience preferred * At least 3 years of previous supervisory experience WORKING CONDITIONS * Mix between office and warehouse environment * Daily PC, Tablet & Scanning system use * Time sensitive deadlines * Occasional lifting and push/pull up to 50 lbs and occasionally up to 75 lbs * Walking and standing for long periods of time on concrete floors (full shifts) Our Culture At Husqvarna, we pride ourselves on a strong, values-driven culture: * BOLD - We're pioneers, unafraid to challenge the status quo to shape the future of our industry. * DEDICATED - With a legacy of excellence, our grit and passion drive us to create exceptional customer experiences. * CARING - We prioritize people, from our customers to our team members and future generations.
