Your key duties will include stocking items received, managing disbursement, and handling returns with precision. You'll ensure proper data entry of crucial documentation such as purchase orders and work orders, while verifying invoices and managing restock orders.Additionally, you will research order issues like backorders and slow shipments, collaborating with outside vendors to expedite deliveries per department needs. This role also involves generating various reports-daily, weekly, and monthly-while performing regular cycle counts to uphold the integrity of inventory. By resolving discrepancies, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining transactional discipline and ensuring that our operations run smoothly and efficiently.Are you the MRO Inventory Specialist we're looking for?To excel as a Full Time MRO Inventory Specialist at Jetpack Shipping, a successful candidate must possess a solid foundation in inventory management and transactional discipline. You should be computer literate with the ability to efficiently enter new purchase orders, adjust inventory levels, and download reports using an ERP system. Prior inventory experience is essential, coupled with proficiency in Microsoft Office products, especially Word and Excel, to manage documentation and reports effectively. Experience in maintaining budgets is also crucial, as you'll be expected to contribute to financial accuracy.Additionally, familiarity with operating a forklift is necessary as part of your responsibilities.
