In the role of R&O Technician I, you'll play a pivotal part on our Repairs team. This position contributes to our vision by: Performing maintenance and alteration tasks on civil aviation articles in accordance with the current technical data provided in the manufacturers' instructions for continued airworthiness, Service Bulletins, service letters, Airworthiness Directives, government and industry standard practices, and other data acceptable to or approved by the FAA. Inspector(s) are responsible for performing preliminary, hidden-damage, in-process and final inspections on civil aviation articles in accordance with the current technical data provided in the manufacturers' instructions for continued airworthiness, Service Bulletins, service letters, Airworthiness Directives, government and industry standard practices, and other data acceptable to or approved by the FAA. Utilizes assembly tools, equipment, and mechanical and visual aids applicable to the scope of work assigned. Understands the methods, techniques and practices outlined in the manufacturer's maintenance documents, Airworthiness Directives, service bulletins, service letters, specifications, and other data acceptable to or approved by the FAA. Performs other duties as assigned. Participates in FAA Drug and Alcohol Program.
