Opportunity to provide quality care in a non-profit settingVeterinarian- Helen Woodward Animal CenterRancho Santa Fe, CAROLE HIGHLIGHTSHelen Woodward Animal Center is seeking a caring and skilled Veterinarian to join our 4-doctor general practice, Companion Animal Hospital. We offer in-house Idexx equipment, ultrasound, digital x-ray and dental x-ray, and cold laser. No overnight or on call work is required. Veterinarian should be proficient in general practice including spays, neuters, soft tissue surgery and dentistry. In addition to our animal hospital, HWAC veterinarians have the opportunity if desired to serve the community through several highly regarded services. Our veterinarian team is focused on providing exceptional care to our patients. Our veterinarians have our extensive facility resources and equipment at their disposal to properly address the needs of patients. Working with us, you will also be supported each day by a driven and productive staff including both RVTs, vet assistants, and dedicated reception staff.Other responsibilities:All applicants must have a current CA DVM license in good standingAbility to approach patients, clients, and staff with a pleasant and comforting demeanorMaintain composure and focus under high-stress and intense environmentsPractice all medical protocols under strict safety standards Time and multitasking skills Strong written and verbal communication and a high level of emotional intelligence Consistent record of attendance and punctualitySolutions/results oriented and passionate about meeting individual and team goalsThis position does require continuous physical activity including walking, standing, sitting bending, lifting up to 50 lbs. and reaching overhead.
